* The first step is to learn about the kind of products that may help you. For this you must consult your dermatologist once.

* African American skin bleaching is different from others. This skin loses elasticity easily that leads to fat globs and stretch marks. You must try products that have Emu oil.

* Before selecting any bleaching products, read its ingredients carefully and make sure that you do not use it if you are allergic to any of them. Do not use any skin care items that do not state their ingredients in detail.

* Always do a patch test first.

* In case you have any redness, irritation or mosquito bites, therefore don’t bleach that area until the problem is sorted out.

* It can be done with a great care, else it may result in a grayish complexion.

* Avoid the products that have steroids. That can harm you a lot in the long run. It causes permanent redness, blood vessel streaks, etc.

* You must also avoid the products that have mercury. It is a slow poison for the body.

* You must use creams that have tretinoin. If you do that for many months ay a stretch, you can cure the irregular pigmentation.

* You must apply sun screen lotions regularly.

* Regularly apply natural skin whitening creams like Meladerm.
